Nintendo Wii Releases New Game: Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast

On October 8, 2007 Nintendo released a new action game called, Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast. It rating is: E, so that means everyone can play it. In this game, the controllers that are being used are: the Wii Remote and the Nunchuck. Using these remotes you will be able to guide Donkey Kong through a series of races, being the first to cross the finish line. During the races you will collect the bananas and power ups to compete with the other characters in the Donkey Kong Universe. Some of them includes: Diddy, Dixie, and King Kong.
Speed, skill, and power ups are you, the player’s main priority to blast your way past your opponents. You can also use dirty tricks like, punch your opponent, the pineapple launcher to push them to the back of the race. Want to make things interesting? Invite up to three of your friends to play a four player race!Controlling Donkey Kong:
- Race forward by drumming both the Wii Remote, and the Nunchuck together at the same time to pound your barrels.
- Race to the right or left by drumming just one of the remotes depending on which place you want to move.
- Use the buttons on the Controls to launch attacks
- The goal here is to put together a series of moves and attacks. Once you can get that done, the larger the combo, the more likely chance you’ll have to be ahead of the pack!
