AdaptiveMobile launches Parental control for mobile devices
AdaptiveMobile has launched a new set of comprehensive parental control. This parental control operates across any mobile dervice, technology or network. The solution, which combines the AdaptiveMobile Policy Control Framework with the Cisco Service Exchange Framework, gives parents control of which sites can be opened and gives them the ability to block any inappropriate sites, such as, sites with adult or pornographic content, also restrict access to social networking sites like Myspace or Facebook.

“Teenagers and children are the fastest adopters of mobile content and applications and with mobile phones now serving as minicomputers, children have increasing access to violent and inappropriate content as well as access to social networking sites and contact from strangers,” said Lorcan Burke, Chief Executive Officer at AdaptiveMobile.
The solution works on mobile operators’ networks and provides an in-depth and a granular level of monitoring, that goes beyond simple threat and application blocking to perform instant and automated policy lookup, filtering content and application access according to settings provided by parents. With the solution of AdaptiveMobile, parents can vary the level of blocking for different members of the family, by allowing some content for teenagers but blocking for young children.
